Request for Modifications/Alterations/Improvements
Forms to request approval for the above can be found on the individual HOA web page in the left hand menu. Remember that this is legally required by authority of the by-laws of each HOA. Once the form is completed, you can mail, hand carry, or scan and attach to an email to your HOA A&M. The By-laws of the SRA are also part of this website.
Mailbox Bulletin Boards
Please be advised that the bulletin boards adjacent to the mailboxes in our neighborhoods are limited to postings from the SRA and sponsored committees as well as Friends of the CC. They are not intended for personal postings or advertising. Such materials will be removed immediately. Notices from above committees must be half sheet size to accommodate more than one piece at a time.
Summerfield Activities
Check our calendar for dates and times, such as the coffee socials, cards, etc. And, if you feel you might want to initiate a new activity, contact the website and someone will get back to you. The barn is available for these purposes.
Petiquette
Residents who walk their dogs are reminded to pick up after the dogs and keep dogs leashed at all times.
Dog walkers should use the two foot grass strip when walking dog and don't let the dog wander up to people's homes and relieve themselves on homeowners' grass/trees/flowers/bushes. You can also use your own lawn for letting your pet relieve itself. Common courtesy to your neighbors should be the rule when walking a dog.Cats are not permitted to roam without a leash. |

Chester County Library System (CCLS) Museum Passes

CCLS offers free admission to many quality museums in the surrounding area. If you are a library member you can access visits to these museums. If you need to register as a new member you can visit any library in the system to enroll. Our closest one is at the intersection of 401 and 100. Better yet, you can enroll on line with your email address at: ccls.org/FormCenter/Library-Services-5/Library-Card-Application-Form-61
The list of museums are alphabetical along with the library that has the pass available. You are able to use any of the locations listed. Some require you to pick up at the specific library location while some permit downloading to your smart phone or printing out the ticket page.
Recently we went to the Brandywine Museum (Wyeth)in Chadds Ford. An amazing experience, easy parking, a lovely restaurant fairly priced, just a great day. Very accessible. Less than 45 minutes from Summerfield.
It’s going to be a long winter and these free museum passes might just be the brightness in the dark winter days.

Chester Cty. Connect Transportation System

Chesco Connect's transportation services are available to all Chester County residents, but some riders can travel at a reduced rate. Trips must be reserved at least one business day in advance before 1:00 P.M. and can be provided to medical appointments, work, grocery stores, pharmacies, senior centers, recreation areas, a friend’s house, and any other destination in Chester County.

Please be aware that you must complete the registration form before you can schedule transportation for yourself. If you know of a neighbor who might find this process a challenge you might consider supporting that person. If you really need some help, please contact the website and we'll find you a helper.
Community Center

Our beautiful Community Center, aka The Barn, located at 249 Steeplechase Drive, is available for lease by residents of Summerfield for private events. You can also sponsor family members or friends who might be in need of a venue for a party, wedding, etc. Information, charges, and contracts are available in the menu on the left side of the website. Inquiries from anyone not having a contact within our community cannot be considered. |
