Forms to request approval for the above can be found on the individual HOA web page in the left hand menu.  Remember that this is legally required by authority of the by-laws of each HOA.  Once the form is completed, you can mail, hand carry, or scan and attach to an email to Sara Wisler at Stoltzfus.  The By-laws of the SRA are also part of this website.

Please be advised that the bulletin boards adjacent to the mailboxes in our neighborhoods are limited to postings from the SRA and sponsored committees as well as Friends of the CC.  They are not intended for personal postings or advertising.  Such materials will be removed immediately.

Summerfield Activities

Check our calendar for dates and times, such as the coffee socials, cards, etc.  And, if you feel you might want to initiate a new activity, contact the website and someone will get back to you.  The barn is available for these purposes.

Petiquette

Residents who walk their dogs are reminded to pick up after the dogs and keep dogs leashed at all times.
Dog walkers should use the two foot grass strip when walking dog and don't let the dog wander up to people's homes and relieve themselves on homeowners' grass/trees/flowers/bushes.  You can also use your own lawn for letting your pet relieve itself. Common courtesy to your neighbors should be the rule when walking a dog.Cats are not permitted to roam without a leash.

Website Information

The following article was shared by our neighbor, Rosemary Boyce. We encourage residents to share information newsworthy to all of us. Recognizing we all have viewpoints, when you are sharing please offer information that is non political or hurtful but rather newsworthy. Thanks, Judy.

This website could be a great tool for getting important community information to Summerfield residents, i.e. the Morgantown Casino.  The Casino has already been approved by the Caernarvon township supervisors but has to be approved by the Pennsylvania Gaming Casino Board.  If you, like me, knew nothing about the meetings being held about the Casino by Caernarvon township, and would like your voices heard by the PA Gaming Casino Board, here is the contact information.

I urge you to write ASAP and let them know your opinion.  Our community can be greatly affected and receive no financial benefit.

Spotted Lantern Flies
Posted on Mar 28th, 2019
They’re almost baaaack. . . .Spotted Lanternflies
Those grey or brown globby 2”-4” smears om trees, cement blocks, rocks, cars, horses, barbecue grills – any hard surface – are Spotted Lanternfly eggs that will burst forth in the next few weeks. If you recall what pests these non-native insects with no natural predators were last year, you may want to act NOW to limit the lantern fly population and save your summer. Following are several links that you may find useful as you gear up to deal with this invasion!
